I have been feverishly getting ready for our annual beach vacation.... running errands, emptying out the refrigerator (and this year, I even cleaned it!), dropping off last minute orders for www.keepingconnections.com, and of course, packing, packing, and re-packing. On the agenda for today was trying to convince one of my 5 year old twins, that no, he cannot take an entire packing bin full of his stuffed animals! Had to explain that if he did that would mean someone doesn't get clothes, bathing suits, and clean underwear! Ok, we ARE going on a leisure vacation, but sheesh!
So, I believe that this is a good time to go.... I need some time to think about stuff. To get reconnoitered, and to get centered again. To GET in touch and KEEP in touch with and know my direction..... of course, do we ever REALLY know?????
Anyway, the beach provides tons, tons, tons of inspiration for me. You don't need to go anywhere to get YOUR inspiration.... just find a place (real, imaginary, a place from childhood, or somewhere made up) and "take" yourself there. See the sites... smells the aromas... taste all the good things.... and don't forget to b-r-e-a-t-h-e.....

PS - you may even want to journal about it, draw or paint a picture of it, or pull out pictures from it and place them in a scrapbook.....
